"Jerry Stadtmiller's restorations are beautifully detailed, technically perfect, and fly hands off on the test flight. I would not take my airplane to anyone else." ~ Larry Robinson

Jerry Stadtmiller has been working on airplanes since he was 18 years old. It's his passion and his love. His mechanics feel the same way. See Workshop LIVE.
We don't ask for money up front. You get progress photos with each invoice. And with live webcams, you can even watch your airplane being worked on.
The mastermind behind BIPE, which stands for BIPLANE, is Jerry Stadtmiller, who dreamt about airplanes as a small child and had his pilot's license before he could drive a car. Jerry, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, has worked on antique aircraft all of his life, and in 2005 won the Charles Taylor Award.
"I never thought to do anything else," said Jerry. "What I am doing now is what I have always wanted to do."
Jerry attracts other people who also have a passion for antique aircraft. He's had no trouble finding the best crafts-people in the area to join him in his business of historically accurate, high quality flying restorations, delighting his customers.
Jerry has restored over 65 aircraft to flying condition, has participated in the restoration of the Grumman Goose that is now located in the Udvar-Hazy Smithsonian museum, and has completed work for Lufthansa, restoring the fabric covering on the rudders of their Lockheed Constellation.
"We're open seven days a week. I love to give tours! The airport should be open and inviting."

Our business philosophy is distinct. Integrity and safety weave through the relationships with our customers. Money does not come first. We don't ask for deposits or up front payments.
We will try to under-commit and over-deliver. We hold your vision of what you want constant as we work on your project. We'll try to save you money everywhere we can, but will never, ever, sacrifice safety or quality to do so.
Every invoice we send you will have a report on progress, often accompanied by 8X10 glossies of your airplane in progress.
No job is too small. From a simple adjustment to a bottom up restoration, we take care and pride in our results.
We consult over the phone for free. Send us pictures or ask us a question, we are happy to help.
At any given time we have between four and seven aircraft restoration projects underway. Come tour our facility and see rare aircraft from the 30's, 40's, and 50's.
Teachers: why not bring your class out on a field trip to the airport?
